Application:
Organic synthesis: catalyze Claisen condensation and Diekmann condensation, promote the formation of enolates (such as α-alkylation of ketones/esters), and efficiently complete E2 elimination reactions (dehydrohalogenation to olefins).
Medicine/pesticides: synthesize complex molecular intermediates such as steroids and antibiotics.
Polymers: anionic polymerization initiator, epoxy resin curing catalyst.
